Hey, I’m Seth. Photographer, musician, writer, friend. When I think of the central theme of my life, it’s one of curiosity. Especially curiosity for good stories. Stories told through a photo, a song, or over a cup of coffee steaming in cold morning air as the sun peaks over a sleepy mountain. I want to capture those stories and give them a voice.
For years, my primary outlet for telling stories was through songwriting. My voice and a guitar. Sharing moments with people in living rooms and on stages. But when I first picked up a camera and looked through that lens (in this case a Canon AE-1 film camera), the world slowed down a bit. I fell in love with just looking through that lens, half the time not even taking a photo. I learned how to appreciate a moment, to observe the details of this great big world around me. To take in the wrinkles and memories held in a face, how the light catches the dust in the air, or how a constantly moving world can come to a pause with one snap of the shutter. I became addicted to looking through that lens and seeing what it revealed in the world around me.
What I bring to the table is more than just a camera. It’s a partnership and a passion for making your story come to life. Let’s get curious.
